Who is Ava? Call her the figurative grande dame of the salon…
“Ava” is a spin-off of AVA (American Voices Abroad) – Berlin, founded in 2003 by U.S. citizens in Berlin to protest the Iraq War. Since that time it has come to serve as an informal forum for Americans (and Germans) to learn about and discuss U.S. politics and policy. Ava’s Transatlantic Green Salon continues this tradition of critical yet non-dogmatic discourse.

“Ava” stammt von AVA (American Voices Abroad) Berlin, 2003 gegründet von US-Bürgern in Berlin als Protest gegen den Irak-Krieg. Seitdem dient AVA Berlin als Aktions- und Gesprächsforum für engagierte US-Bürger in Berlin sowie interessierte Deutsche. Ava’s Transatlantic Green Salon setzt diese Tradition der kritischen doch undogmatischen Debatte fort.
